Integrating lightning rods into wire mesh fencing provides dual-layer protection—combining perimeter security with distributed grounding networks. This article examines smart rod-based systems optimized for remote locations.
Facilities such as wind turbines, water pumping stations, or remote storage yards operate miles from emergency teams. Standard lightning rods require tower-top inspection. Jintong’s fencing-based system includes modular rod arrays installed every 10 meters, each grounded into the mesh frame.
